open door policy. Come in any time to sit and stitch, have tea and snacks,
meet new people and catch up with old friends. Check out what other people
are doing and get advice.
If you would like to start a group that meets at a particular time, just come on in, we'll write you into the schedule.

Knitting Classes
Beginning Knitting
Learn to cast on and get going on a scarf, hand towel or other simple project of your choice. We will show you a simple cast on method you will remember and the knit and purl stitches to get you going. Sessions are free - but sign up is required - take as many as you like!
Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month - 10 am - 12pm

Knitted Helmet NO COST for instructions Coyote Creek Yarn is helping with a special request. We need knitted Helmet Liners. Several people have requested a session in order to work on this project. So here it is. You need to use a 100% wool product for this, it is a requirement. Also either black, tan, olive drab or brown yarn is required. No multicolored or variegated yarn colors. We will go over the pattern for this project and will have a sample on display. This is a wonderful cause for our guys overseas. Knitting Solutions $35 If you are a beginning to intermediate knitter, but feel you haven't learned enough to work on more advanced knitting projects, then this is the class for you. Susan will show you many tricks and simple solutions to give you confidence and speed up you knitting. Join her on this wonderful adventure to expanding your knitting skills. This is all the craze right now and once you learn there are endless combinations for creating great looking socks! Irish Crochet $15 Have you ever wanted to learn the art of Irish Crochet? Well here is your chance. You will be taught the basics of how to start and finish a piece. You will learn what makes it different from other crochet types and how this unique style has been absorbed into modern crochet styles. The class will focus on making a simple flower which can be added to, or used independently as a decoration. 1 session / materials not included. Silk Ribbon Embroidery for Beginners $15 Silk ribbon embroidery has been enjoying a revival and is now offered here at Coyote Creek Yarn. This class will show you the basics for this art. From picking fabrics/needles/ to threading the ribbon and basic stitches. For the first project we will make a wonderful heart motif.
